Not all would have thought humility is one of the many features of Amina ladies. This was shown in the pre-hall week car wash that held yesterday, Friday 26th of September, 2014.
The car wash which was preceded by the Muslim prayers started around 6pm with the ladies washing the cars of interested passers-by to the amazement of on-lookers.
What made it more interesting was the blast of music from the speakers and the dance that accompanied the washing. "The purpose of the car wash is to create awareness for the hall week" said one of the executives.
The programme of the hall week goes thus:
28th Sept- praise night
6th Oct-sport activities
7th Oct-talent hunt
8th Oct-seminar
9th Oct-cooking competition
10th Oct-beauty pageant and award night.
