UNILAG HOSTS URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE, OCT. 13-15

The Department of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Lagos will host the 2014 Urban and Regional Planning International Conference from October 13 to 15, 2014 at the Julius Berger Auditorium, UNILAG Main Campus, Akoka. The Conference will feature: Keynote papers and presentations by renowned experts and scholars from across Africa including:Professor Tunde Agbola of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria; Professor Vanessa Watson of the African Centre for Cities, University of Cape-Town, South Africa; South African High Commissioner to Nigeria; and Representatives of leading infrastructure providers in Africa. A panel on the initial findings of the DFID-sponsored Urban Infrastructure in Nigeria Project. An Urban Design and Photography Exhibition tagged My City, Lagos by students of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, UNILAG under the auspices of Lagos Urban Research Network.
