17 COMMON HABITS EVERY STUDENT SHOULD BREAK BEFORE LEAVING SCHOOL

good-habits-bad-habits
This post was originally published here. I found it relevant and decided to share.
What do you spend most of your time on? You have two choices; to either feel disappointed and frustrated about the whole situation in the country: high rate of unemployment, poor governance etc or take responsibility for your career.
It may not seem easy to accept, high unemployment rate or not, you are responsible for your life’s outcome.

HOW TO CREATE WEBSITES YOURSELF IN 30 MINUTES

Have you ever wished to create a website for yourself and need a guide to this? Here is your answer. What I’m about to take you through is about creating a real website. I mean something like goodluck.com, not goodluck.wordpress.com.
In the next few lines, I would be teaching you with the aid of screen shots, a step-by-step approach to create your website yourself in 30 minutes.  Your site would be up and running with less than N9000 ($45.36) spent to host it for the first 2 years.
I need to tell you that:
  • You don’t have to be a computer guru to do this
  • Neither do you have to pay anyone to do it for you
  • All you need is the ability to read and apply simple instructions
Now, let’s get started!

FIVE THINGS YOU CAN DO AS A GRADUATE

You’re a fresh graduate, just out of the school system probably awaiting National Youth Service Corps or you’re in the labour market. Don’t despair as there are opportunities waiting for you to tap into. All you need do is to open your eyes and come to the realisation that you’re no longer in the academic environment, a school system that is always almost unrealistic compared to the hustling and bustling nature of the real world, a stunning world where countless numbers of graduates like you with even five or more years than you, are roaming the street in search of the same job as you. Now isn’t that scary?
But be not worry as I’m not here to scare you; I’m only here to let you see the need to buckle down in order to get yourself very prepared for the challenges at hand. It is no longer news, except you’re living in a land of fantasy, that being a graduate in Nigeria is like being just the other guy looking for any kind of job. Well, however exaggerated this may seem, it is the reality. Every year, the Nigerian university systems churn out thousands of graduates with a gloomy labour market with its attendant hostility, waiting to reluctantly receive them. But of course there are few exceptional cases whereby graduates now plan ahead to withstand the labour market by engaging in, as well equipping themselves with, the necessary job skills so that by the time they’re graduating, they will have been very much ready to scale through the hurdles of the alarming rate of unemployment condition bedevilling the country. But this set of people are few – usually one in a million cases.

But that, seriously, isn’t the main thrust of this presentation. Our main focus here is to light up our hope, that despite all these challenges, we can still survive and come out even stronger than we least imagine. It all depends on three key elements: patience, persistence and positivity.

The Five Things You Can Do
Meantime, while job-hunting, there are five things you can do that could help close the gap between your unemployed state and productivity. These five things will go a long way in sustaining you for a while, before you get your dream job.

[HEALTH] GUM DISEASE TREATMENT

Gum disease is an inflammation of the gums that can progress to affect the bone that surrounds and supports your teeth. It is caused by the bacteria in plaque, a sticky, colorless film that constantly forms on your teeth. If not removed through daily brushing and flossing, plaque can build up and the bacteria infect not only your gums and teeth, but eventually the gum tissue and bone that support the teeth. This can cause them to become loose, fall out or have to be removed by a dentist.

There are three stages of gum disease:

HOW TO SPEND LESSER MONEY ON YOUR EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH

Carrying out educational research is a major calling that must be answered by all students in universities before they could be awarded their degrees or diplomas. It requires devotion of time and effort.
I’m inspired to write this recalling what it took me to do my undergraduate research work. What I’m writing about here isn’t for lazy bones that depend solely on other researchers, copy their work and publish as if it were theirs. Researchers work solving certain societal problems in some unique ways. You as a young researcher can’t be any different.
Apart from the time and effort dissipated, research could cost a lot of money depending on the kind of research being carried out, the personality of the researcher and the environment in which the research is being done. Therefore, there is the need for you as a researcher to seek means to spend lesser money on your educational research work and maximise your potentials. Do you want to minimise spending costs on your research work? Seek these tips!

PRODUCTIVE THINGS YOU SHOULD DO IN YOUR SERVICE YEAR

It is required of every Nigerian graduate to embark on a one year national service programme handled by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). This programme has been designed to make Nigerian graduates from universities and polytechnics serve in designated locales within the country for a year.
Majority of corps members have the notion that the service year is for them to relax, explore and enjoy life in other communities for a year. That’s not a bad idea if, at the end of the year, they don’t return home broke, helpless, hapless and jobless. They come off with gloomy experiences of how unfavourable the country had been to graduates.
If you are about serving or currently serving, it is better you make the most of this ‘free’ time. It doesn’t matter whether you serve in a remote village or a buzzling city, a federal ministry or a private store. What you decide to do or not to do would later work in your favour or otherwise. The choice is yours!

[ROMANCE] Give Her A Sensual Massage

© Credit: Fotolia.com

She loves massages and she loves sex, so wouldn't it be spectacular if you could combine the two acts and create a night that she won't soon forget? Whether you want to add a little spice to a fizzling romance or you're looking for a way to impress a new lover, a sensual massage is your one-way ticket to Pleasureville.
Many men think of this wonderful fusion of intimate acts, but they seldom step up to the plate. They either fear rejection or they aren't sure how to initiate a sensual massage. The truth is that most women are very receptive to a massage, but how receptive your woman will be to asensual massage depends heavily on her mood. You can help by starting with a regular massage and easing your way into a more intimate affair. Here's how to get started.

[ROMANCE] Finding Her G-Spot; How To Find Her G-Spot & What To Do Once You've Found It

By Vanessa Burton

To a woman, there is nothing more irritating than having sex with a man whose only concern is his own pleasure. If he wants to be a real man, he has to make his woman a priority. The only way to do it is to hit what the proverbial g-spot. I am not a doctor, but I have enough experience to know what works. So listen up boys, because you are about to make your women very happy.

a,b,c...

All men know that women have g-spots. The part of their bodies that inspire monster moans and trigger over-the-top orgasms. The popular name comes from Dr. Grafenberg, the man who discovered the erogenous zone. It is a nickel size tissue that is located behind the front vaginal wall. All women have a g-spot; some have experienced the pleasures it can bring when stimulated, while others don't even know it exists. Women describe the g-spot in one word: Hallelujah! It's a head-to-toe sensation, sending waves of pleasure throughout our bodies.
Most women find their own g-spot through masturbation, however; hunting for the magic spot with your partner can bring you closer together and be delightful. The penis is not the best tracking instrument. The instrument that you should use is your index fingers. Wonder why? Well it's easier for your finger to apply firm pressure to the spot midway up her vaginal wall. It is likely that your penis will glide past it. Also, th
e fingertips are better able to feel through the vaginal wall for the area that swells. Once you are able to find this 'ultimate' spot, she will be yours forever.

playground of pleasure

Men usually worry that they orgasm too fast, and wish it could be the same for a woman. Well, when a man goes searching for her g-spot, it becomes a playful game and sex can become incredible. What women don't want is a 'g-whiz' orgasm. It can take a few tries before her g-spot is located, which is why some practice is needed. While your fingers are inside her rubbing her wall, use the other hand and push gently down on her stomach right above her pubic hair. This will further stimulate her, magnifying the intensity of her orgasm.
Another thing: women aren't the only ones who have g-spots. Studies show that men have their own g-spot: the prostate, a gland that lies just below your bladder. It's a sensitive zone located on the inside of the body. Unfortunately, a man's prostate is usually neglected until he's diagnosed with cancer. However, it is responsible for a tantalizing sensation deep inside a man's crotch when he's sexually excited. This little piece of information could come in handy, especially if your woman starts hogging all the "g-spot" time. All you have to say is "Baby, you can find my g-spot too."
