In a recent 'Lagmobile' message sent by the office of student affairs this evening stated that students can only ballot for hostel only after the payment of school fees and registration of courses. The message goes thus:
'To ALL FINAL YEAR & OTHER RETURNING STUDENTS.
Consequent upon the recently declared public holiday, the registration window for bed space allocation is hereby extended till Friday, 9/01/15. For d avoidance of doubt, only students who r fully registered for 2014/2015 academic session as at this date will be eligible to ballot for accommodation.
Pls. note that the accommodation fee is N24, 500. Ensure that u set it aside now as u will have limited period to pay. The specific date for balloting exercise will be announced shortly. So, in order to be able to ballot for hostel fairly, you need to do the following:
1) Pay your school fees
2) Register your courses
3) wait for the scheduled date for balloting by checking the school website.
